Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Wishart

A man has died from injuries sustained in a traffic crash on Thursday, 2 April at Wishart.

Investigation indicate at 8.47am a car was travelling west on Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road and the driver attempted to turn right into Broadwater Road when the car left the roadway and hit a tree.

The passenger, a 83-year-old Wellington Point man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he died this evening.

The driver, a 86-year-old Wellington Point woman, remains in the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are ongoing.
