The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Kulangoor on the Sunshine Coast this morning, 15 May.
Initial enquiries indicate a grey Holden Commodore was travelling southbound on Nambour Connection Road when it rolled down an embankment and onto a nearby railway line.
The driver and sole occupant, a 28-year-old Pelican Waters man, was declared deceased at the scene.
There were significant disruptions to the rail network following the crash.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with relevant dashcam vision or information is urged to come forward.
