Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Jimna

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Jimna this morning, 10 June.

Initial investigations indicate a motorcycle veered onto the wrong side of Peachtree Access Road before crashing head on into a grader just before 10.45am.

The male rider, a 66-year-old Tarragindi man, sustained critical injuries and received medical treatment at the scene.

He was declared deceased a short time later.

Investigations are ongoing, and anyone with relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
