A young man has died in hospital overnight following a traffic crash at Wolvi on Sunday night (April 11).
Initial Forensic Crash Unit investigations indicate the Toyota Corolla sedan veered off Vines Road around 8pm and collided with a tree.
Police were advised of the death of the driver, an 18-year-old Greens Creek man, shortly after 7pm last night.
Two other occupants, an 18-year-old man and 15-year-old girl, are recovering from serious injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigations are continuing.
