Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Oakwood

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man died following a crash near Oakwood earlier today.

Initial investigations suggest around 10.20am today (April 26), a Mitsubishi Magna and a motorhome collided on Rosedale Road.

The driver and passenger of the motorhome, a 72-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man from the Mooloolah Valley area, were transported to Bundaberg Hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the Magna, a man believed to be aged in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Rosewood Road has reopened following the crash with Forensic Crash Unit investigations ongoing.
