Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Burbank

A woman has died following a single vehicle crash on Brisbane's bayside this morning.

Around 4.30am, police and emergency services attended Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road at Burbank where preliminary information suggests a station wagon left the road and struck a tree.

The driver and sole occupant, a 19-year-old Logan woman, died at the scene.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any information to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
