Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Cedar Creek

A 17-year-old boy has died following a single vehicle crash at Cedar Creek overnight.

Around 1:45am this morning, a member of the community alerted police and emergency services to a car in bushland off Quinzeh Creek Road.

Preliminary investigations suggest the vehicle was travelling in a north westerly direction when it left the road and crashed into a wooden power pole.

The teenager died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
