Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Clagiraba

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Clagiraba yesterday evening (October 28).

Initial investigations indicate just before 5pm; a red Mitsubishi Triton travelled into the intersection of Beaudesert Nerang Road and Clagiraba Road before the vehicle lost control and rolled.

The vehicle's driver, a 48-year-old Tallebudgera woman, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in critical condition, where she was declared deceased.

The other occupants of the vehicle, A 47-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
