Two people have died following a traffic crash involving a truck and car in Beaudesert this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate around midday, a station wagon travelling south along the Beaudesert Bypass crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with an oncoming truck near Brisbane Street.
The driver of the car, a 41-year-old Hatton Vale man, and passenger, a 52-year-old Beaudesert man, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 52-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
