Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Bundaberg 22 August

A 39-year-old Branyan man has died after being struck by a car at Bundaberg this morning.

Around 3.30am, early investigations suggest a car was travelling along Childers Road at Kensington when it collided with the man.

He died at the scene a short time later.

The 25-year-old male driver was not physically injured.

Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing investigations. Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact police.
