Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Bundaberg Region

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after an 85-year-old Isis River man died from a crash in the Bundaberg region this afternoon.

Initial investigations suggest a truck collided with the back of a car on the Bruce Highway at the intersection of Eureka Station Road at Isis Central around 3pm.

The man was taken to Childers hospital but sadly died as a result of his injuries a short time after arrival.

The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
