Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Esk 22 March

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal two vehicle crash at Redbank Creek, near Esk, this afternoon 21 March.

Initial information indicates around 3:05pm, a 2016 Kia Cerato and a 2015 Toyota Kluger were travelling in opposite directions along Esk Hampton Road, near Brennan Road, before colliding.

The driver and single occupant of the Kia, a 26-year-old Beaudesert man, was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver and single occupant of the Toyota, a 55-year-old Esk man, was transported in a serious condition to Toowoomba Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing anyone with relevant information or vision to come forward.
