Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Goomeri

Police are appealing for witnesses after a single vehicle traffic crash at Booubyjan, North of Goomeri, overnight.

Initial investigations indicate about 9:30pm, a Toyota Landcruiser was travelling north on the Burnett Highway just north of the Old Murgon-Gayndah Road when the vehicle left the road and rolled.

The driver, a 53-year-old Holland Park man, was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to please contact police.
