Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Loganholme

A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash on the Pacific Motorway in Loganholme this morning.

Preliminary investigations indicate, just before 5.50am, a Mazda single-cab utility vehicle, travelling in the southbound lanes has crashed into the highway's barrier before coming to a stop.

The man was transported to Logan Hospital and was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.

Traffic in the southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway will face some delays while Forensic Crash Unit investigators continue to assess the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or may have dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
