Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Nundubbermere

Police are investigating a fatal, single vehicle traffic crash which occurred near Stanthorpe yesterday.

Just before midday, a 63-year-old Victorian man was riding a motorcycle along Murphy's Crossing Road at Nundubbermere as part of a larger group, when he has lost control and crashed.

An off-duty nurse located the crash and provided first aid along with the other riders, however the man was declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
