Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At St George 27 April

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash near St George this afternoon, 27 April.

At 12.40pm, officers were called to the Balonne Highway approximately 40 kilometres west of St George following reports a vehicle had struck a tree.

A driver and passenger were located deceased inside.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the events leading up to the crash, the identity of the two people and the time the incident occurred.

There is no further information available at this time.
