Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Wanora

Police are investigating after a woman died in a single vehicle traffic crash at Glamorgan Vale this morning.

Preliminary information indicates the 57-year-old woman from Wanora was travelling east along Glamorgan Vale Road around 10:15am when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.

She was removed from the vehicle and a member of the public attempted to render first aid.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
