The Cairns Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a fatal e-scooter crash in Mareeba last night, June 10.
Early investigations indicate, between 10.30pm and 10.50pm a teenage boy was believed to be travelling along Strattmann Street on an e-scooter, before he collided with a parked vehicle.
Upon arrival, emergency services commenced CPR was however the boy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have relevant information or vision to contact Policelink.
Investigations are ongoing.
