Police responding to serious traffic crash at Griffin

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious two car crash that occurred in Griffin last night, May 28.

Initial investigations indicate at 7pm, a motorbike and a truck have crashed at the intersection of Goodrich Road East and Dohles Rocks Road near the Bruce Highway on ramp.

The motorbike rider, an 18-year-old Zillmere man, was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 49-year-old Burpengary man, was physically uninjured and is assisting police with inquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage in the area at the time of the crash to come forward.
