Police responding to serious traffic crash at Gympie

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious two vehicle traffic crash that occurred in Gunalda this afternoon, June 10.

Initial investigations indicate around 2.30pm, a sedan and a 4WD collided along Miva Road.

The driver and passenger of the sedan, a man in his 20s and a teenage girl, sustained critical injuries and were airlifted to hospital for treatment.

Six occupants of the 4WD sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital by road.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision to come forward.
