Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Mackay 3 May

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash in Mackay last night, May 2.

Around 10.40pm, a Toyota Camry struck a pedestrian on Sydney Street.

The pedestrian, a 19-year-old man, was transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a critical condition before being flown to Townsville University Hospital for treatment.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact police.
