The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious single vehicle traffic crash in Harlaxton yesterday afternoon, 4 February.
Initial investigations indicate around 4.25pm, a 2003 Suzuki Sv650 was travelling north along Doyle Street when it left the road and collided with a tree.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old Harlaxton man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with relevant vision of the vehicle in the area prior to the crash, to contact them.
Investigations are ongoing.
