The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a serious traffic crash in Cranbrook this morning, 20 August.
Initial investigations indicate around 10am, a Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorbike and Toyota Camry car collided at the intersection of Ross River Road and Alice Street.
The motorbike rider, a 33-year-old Currajong man, was transported to Townsville University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Toyota's driver, a 46-year-old Cranbrook man, did not sustain any physical injuries.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam vision to come forward.
