Police responding to serious traffic crash at Everton Park 16 October

Police from the Forensic Crash Unit are instigating a single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Everton Park last night (October 15).

Initial investigations indicate just before 10pm a red Holden Commodore sedan collided with a light pole while heading north on South Pine Road near Woolworths Street.

The driver, a 24-year-old Albany Creek woman suffered serious injures as a result of the crash.

She was transported to hospital, however the crash caused a widespread loss of power to the area.

South Pine Road remains closed in both directions at Everton Park Link Road and Stafford Road.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the red Commodore driving north on South Pine Road around that time or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, to contact them.
