Police responding to serious traffic crash at Mundingburra

A man has been critically injured following a traffic crash involving two cyclists in Mundingburra this afternoon.

Initial information indicates the two bicycles collided on Gulliver Street just after 3pm.

One of the cyclists, a man in his 20s, was transported to Townsville Hospital in a critical condition.

The other, a teenage boy, sustained minor injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for any members of the public who witnessed the incident to contact police.
