Police responding to serious traffic crash at Sheldon

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash at Sheldon which resulted in one person being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Preliminary investigations suggest around 1pm a sedan has collided with a minibus head on along Mt Cotton Road at Sheldon.

The 18-year-old driver of the silver sedan suffered life threatening injuries, while three people from the bus, including the driver were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road had to be closed this afternoon and traffic is now flowing again.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
