Police Responding To Traffic Crash At Ormeau Hills

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a traffic crash at Ormeau Hills yesterday afternoon, 28 January.

Investigations indicate about 5.55pm, a Toyota Corolla was travelling along River Run Court near the intersection of Oakover Avenue before striking a pedestrian and pram.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old Ormeau Hills woman and an infant, were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital.

The woman is in a stable condition and the infant is in a critical but stable condition.

The driver, a 26-year-old Ormeau Hills woman remained on scene and is assisting police.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dash cam vision to contact Policelink.
