Police Responding To Traffic Crash At Sunnybank

Police are appealing for information after an 84-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle in Sunnybank on Friday, 15 August.

Around 6.40am, the woman, using a mobility wheelie walker, was crossing Turton Street at the intersection with Mitchell Street when she was struck by a Ford Ranger travelling east.

The woman was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with enquiries.

Forensic Crash Unit officers are appealing for anyone with further information or relevant video footage to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
