Police Rush to Serious Crash at Greenslopes

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured on Cornwall Street in Greenslopes at 6.45pm on Friday, 20 March.

Investigators are attempting to establish what has occurred and believe the woman may have been walking across the road near the intersection with Baron Street when she has been struck by a motorcycle which was travelling east on Cornwall Street.

The motorcycle has failed to stop and debris at the scene indicate it may be a black coloured motorcycle.

The 39-year-old Greenslopes woman was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she remains with serious leg injuries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone travelling on Cornwall Street and the surrounding area around 6.45pm, who witnessed the incident or have dashcam vision, to contact police.

Investigators are also appealing for anyone involved in the incident to contact police.
