Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Northcote woman Margaret.
The 78-year-old was last seen on Gladstone Avenue in Northcote around 6.45pm.
Police and family have concerns for her welfare as she has dementia.
Margaret is described as 152cm tall with long grey hair and was wearing a beige windcheater, blue jeans, black shoes and large costume jewellery.
Police have released an image of Margaret in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Margaret is urged to contact Northcote Police Station on 9403 0200.
