Police search for man who performed explicit sexual act in Richmond

Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are appealing for public assistance after a man performed an explicit sexual act in Richmond earlier this month.

Investigators have been told a 46-year-old woman and a young boy were walking on Lennox Street near Highett Street on Wednesday, 3 November about 8.30am when they noticed a man performing an explicit sexual act.

The man left the scene and was last seen walking north on Lennox Street.

Detectives have today released an image and CCTV of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 185cm tall with a medium build and shoulder-length dark and grey hair.

He was wearing green camouflage style pants, a black jumper with a large white motif on the front, a black Nike cap and black and white sneakers.
