Police have appealed for anyone with information about a missing 84-year-old man in the Cooma area to come forward, NSW Police say.
Shortly before 4pm today (Tuesday 4 September 2018) police from Monaro Police District were informed that an elderly man had walked away from his home in Bobeyon Road at Shannons Flat.
Mr Richard Karpinski is 84-years-old and suffers from a medical condition which may make him appear confused.
He was last seen walking towards the bush near his home and was only wearing bright purple trousers, a thick grey jacket and a grey/brown beanie.
Police have concerns for his welfare.
Investigators have urged anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
