Police search for missing Bundoora man Auseklis Gulbis

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Auseklis “Swannie” Gulbis.

The 91-year-old was last known to be at his Janefield Drive retirement village address about 10.30am on 23 October.

Investigators believe he left his address and may be driving his red 2005 Toyota Corolla sedan with the registration TQG 776.

Police and family hold concerns for Swannie as he has mild dementia and a medical condition which requires regular medication.

Swannie is Caucasian in appearance, thin white hair, always well dressed and uses a walking stick.

He is likely to respond to his nick-name rather than formal Christian name.

Swannie is known to frequent the Preston and Reservoir areas.

Police have released images of Swannie in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Swannie or has information about his current whereabouts is urged to contact Mill Park Police Station on 9407 3333.
