Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to locate missing man Phillip.
It is believed the 79-year-old was last seen leaving Stayner Court, Chelsea on foot today about 1.15pm.
Police and family have concerns for Phillip's welfare as he lives with dementia, and it is out of character for him to not return home.
Phillip is Caucasian, tall in stature, with grey hair and of slim build.
It is believed Phillip is wearing an orange beanie, dark blue puffer jacket and blue jeans.
Phillip is known to frequent shopping strips along Nepean Highway and nearby beaches.
Police have released an image of Phillip in the hopes that someone may recognise him.
