Police are currently searching for missing elderly Mount Martha man Geoffrey.
The 86-year-old was last seen leaving a Winston Court address to take his golden retriever Paddy for a walk about 5pm.
Geoffrey regularly takes Paddy for a 1-2km walk in the area however failed to return home today.
Police and family have concerns for Geoffrey's welfare as he has dementia and his disappearance is out of character.
Geoffrey is described as being about 172cm tall with a medium build and dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey windcheater/jacket, grey tracksuit pants and black slip-on shoes.
Investigators have released an image of Geoffrey and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Mornington Police Station on 5970 4900.
