Police search for missing elderly woman Brigitte

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Highett woman Brigitte.

The 83-year-old last spoke with family on the phone about 7pm on Sunday evening.

When family were unable to get hold of her on Monday night for their daily phone chat, they attended her house but found she wasn't home and reported her missing.

It's also been determined that Brigitte didn't turn up to her table tennis session that she usually attends every Monday.

Police have released an image in the hope that someone can provide information on her current whereabouts.

Brigitte is described as Caucasian, with blue eyes and should-length grey hair.
