Police search for missing girl Demi-Rose

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing girl Demi-Rose.

The 16-year-old's disappearance is considered out of character and her family and police have concerns for her welfare.

Demi-Rose was last seen at a skatepark on Beech Street, Whittlesea about 7pm on Saturday 14 January.

Her last social media post was a Victoria Park Station, Abbotsford at 5pm yesterday.

She has not contacted friends or loved ones since that time.

Demi-Rose is described as having a thin build with blonde shoulder length hair and distinctive braces with purple bands. She also has single dot tattoos on each of her fingers above the nail.

Police have released an image of Demi-Rose in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Demi-Rose or with information is urged to call Mernda Police Station on 9216 1200.
