Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man John.
The 68-year-old was last seen leaving an address on Riggal Street in Dallas about 4pm on Thursday 2 September.
Police and family are concerned for John's welfare as he has dementia and may be confused or unaware of his surroundings.
He is caucasian, about 170cm tall with a thin build, long white thinning hair and a white beard.
John was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket and dark blue tracksuit pants.
An image of John has been released in the hope someone may recognise him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees John or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Broadmeadows Police Station on 9302 8222.
