Police search for missing person, Mount Beerwah

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a missing 33-year-old Mango Hill man reported missing yesterday (August 16).

Phillip Walsh, pictured below, was last seen around 7am at an address on Marine Parade, Redcliffe.

His 2010 black Nissan Navara with Queensland registration 005STW was located at 6pm yesterday at the Mount Beerwah carpark, Mount Beerwah Road.

Police, with the assistance of State Emergency Services personnel, have conducted an extensive land and air search of the Mount Beerwah area today.

This search will continue tomorrow at first light.

Phillip is described as Caucasian in appearance, 176cm tall with brown eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jumper with white print across the chest, black shorts, red shoes and a dark-coloured hat.

Anyone with information regarding Phillip's current whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
