Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Jude.
The 16-year-old was last seen leaving for school from his Bairnsdale home this morning.
Jude failed to attend school and has not been seen since.
Jude is autisic and police and family are concerned for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
An image of Jude has been released in the hope someone may recognise him and provide information on his whereabouts.
Jude is described as Caucasian with brown hair, blue eyes and a medium build.
He was last seen wearing his school uniform, a blue jumper, blue shorts and a white t-shirt.
Anyone who sees Jude or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Bairnsdale Police Station on 5150 2600.
