Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Nicola Emery.
The 36-year-old was last seen at her home address in Allambanan Street in Bayswater North about 7.30am yesterday morning.
Police and family members hold concerns for Nicola's welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
She is described as of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, slim build with blonde shoulder length hair and a half sleeve tattoo on her left arm.
Nicola is known to frequent the Boronia area and Lake Eildon.
Investigators have released an image of Nicola in the hope that someone can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Nicola or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Boronia Police Station on 9760 6600.
