Police search for stolen Audi in Kialla Lakes

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information to help locate an Audi stolen during a home invasion in Kialla Lakes last night.

Offenders entered the Waranga Drive home via a window and located the garage containing a white 2011 Audi sedan between 11.30pm and 12am.

The trio located the keys and stole the vehicle, with European registration plates VEH 789, which is yet to be located.

The home occupants woke to find the vehicle gone and other vehicles in the garage had been rifled through.

Detectives believe that the offenders may also be responsible for a number of attempted burglaries in the nearby area.

Investigators are appealing for anyone whose house was broken into overnight or found signs of an attempted break-in in the area to contact police.

Any witnesses, anyone with dash cam/CCTV vision or anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
