Police search for stolen Mack tipper truck

Melton police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a stolen tipper truck, Victoria Police say.

The white 2013 Mack tipper truck, registered BOSSGP, was stolen when the driver failed to return to his place of employment on 28 January.

Investigators have been told that the truck was refuelled at Ravenswood on the night it was stolen and may now be in the Mornington or Rosebud area.

The thief is a man aged in his early 50s and may be working for cash-in-hand jobs on building sites on the Mornington Peninsula.

Police have released an image of the truck in the hope someone may have information on its current whereabouts.

Anyone who has information about the tipper truck is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
