Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to a pursuit earlier today at Waikerie, according to SA Police.
Just before 8.30am on Tuesday 17 July, patrols spotted a stolen blue Holden Calais - S821BLZ travelling west at speed along the Sturt Highway and tried to pull over the driver.
He refused and police pursued the car along the Sturt Highway until the pursuit was terminated at Tanunda.
The car was located a short time later abandoned in Fielder Street.
The driver is described as being 183cm tall, aged in his 30s with reddish hair and wearing a brown t-shirt, dark pants and a light cap. His female passenger is described as being aged in her 20s with dark brown shoulder length hair and wearing a high-vis top, dark pants and sunglasses - see images below.
