Police seek assistance in murder investigation - Ingleburn

Police have today released a computer-generated image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the murder of an 18-year-old man on Chester Road, Ingleburn in May 2019.

The investigation is part of Strike Force Faischi which was established after a group of men allegedly assaulted the teen out the front of a birthday party on Friday 24 May 2019 at around 9:30pm. As a result of the injuries sustained during that assault, the teenager passed away.

The male identified in the image is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged between 18 and 20 years old, athletic/muscular build and between 175cm-185cm tall and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Investigators believe this person was present at the party and may be able to assist with enquiries.

At the time, investigators from SCC Homicide Squad and Campbelltown City PAC Detectives received information from witnesses which lead to the arrest of two men on Sunday 26 May 2019.

They are now seeking the assistance from the public to identify the male in the image.
