Police seek Bank Street victim, SA

A man was arrested after allegedly accosting a woman in Bank Street, Adelaide this evening, and police are asking the victim to come forward, according to SA Police.

About 7pm on Saturday 23 July, police from Public Transport Safety Branch saw an altercation between a man and a woman in Bank Street, near North Terrace, Adelaide. The officers ran to the scene, but the woman, who hit the man with her bag in an effort to get away from him, left prior to police arrival.

The 45-year-old Adelaide man was arrested and charged with affray and breach of bail. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
