Police Seek Boy Missing from QLD Far North Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a boy reported missing from Queensland.

James Daly, aged nine, was last seen in Queensland on Thursday 31 July 2025.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Queensland Police were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following further inquiries, the matter was referred to NSW Police Force detectives attached to Richmond Police District.

James is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 125cm tall, with brown eyes and light brown hair.

Inquiries have established he is likely in the company of a 44-year-old woman known to him. She is known to frequent the Lismore, Tweed Heads, Murwillumbah, and SE Queensland areas.
