Police Seek Boy Missing in Merrylands West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy reported missing from Sydney's west.

Horatio Pitolua, aged 13, was last seen in Merrylands West about 10am yesterday (Tuesday 20 January 2026).

Unable to be located since, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Horatio's welfare due to his age.

Horatio is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 185cm tall, with a medium build, and wavy black hair.

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts with a white stripe, a black jacket, and black shoes.

Horatio is known to the Sydney CBD and uses public transport.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Cumberland Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
