Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman with dementia missing from the Telopea area.
Baoyu Zhang, aged 79, was last seen at a home on Marshall Road, Telopea about 2pm today (Thursday 3 July 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Ryde Police Area Command were notified who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Baoyu's welfare as she lives with dementia.
Baoyu is described as being of Asian appearance, 160cm tall, thin build with short grey/white hair.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and purple slippers.
Baoyu is known to frequent the Telopea area.
