Police Seek Help After Keilor Aggravated Burglary

Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated burglary and assault in Keilor.

A male offender armed with a hammer entered the open garage of a Petrik Drive address about 1.30pm on Friday, 25 April.
He confronted the 69-year-old male occupant before assaulting him with the hammer.
The man and his wife managed to overpower the offender and chase him from their home.
It's believed he fled the scene in a white BMW, possibly a 320i model.
The victim sustained bruising and cuts that did not require hospital treatment.
Investigators have released an image of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
He is perceived to be African in appearance, about 185cm tall, aged in his late-teens to early-20s and wearing a red-and-black hoodie.
